Empty the unit and arrange safe disconnection of power and any water line before removal. Defrost as appropriate, contain meltwater and secure loose shelves. Do not cut refrigerant lines; disclose damage, leaks, dimensions and stairs before booking.

Keep the sealed system intact
Refrigerators and freezers contain components that need an appropriate disposal route. Hauling does not mean on-site refrigerant recovery or repair. Tell us about damaged tubing, unknown refrigerants or a leaking unit before it is moved; do not assume damaged equipment will be accepted.
Measure the unit and exit
Send height, width and depth, including handles. Show tight kitchen corners, garage exits and stair turns. A commercial refrigerator or unusually large built-in unit is not a standard household pickup and must be evaluated separately.
Avoid a wet or blocked loading route
Empty food and allow time for safe defrosting before the agreed appointment. Keep meltwater out of the carry path. For Frisco remodels, coordinate preparation with the installer and identify whether the unit is in the kitchen, garage or a separate storage area.
