Take photos from several angles and list heavy furniture, appliances and boxed contents. A ten-foot unit partly filled with boxes differs from one filled floor-to-ceiling with dense equipment. Keep valuables and documents out of the removal pile.
Confirm facility rules
Share gate access, authorized pickup arrangements, elevator reservations and truck parking rules. An interior Frisco storage unit may require a longer carry than a ground-level drive-up unit. Do not assume a facility will permit unattended access or use of its equipment.
Close out the lease separately
