Short answer
Renovation debris is priced by volume and weight. Light debris prices like household junk; dense materials such as tile, plaster or bulk drywall may cost more per load. Demolition, cabinet uninstall and disconnections are not part of standard hauling.
Light vs heavy debris
Packaging, trim and carpet are bulky but light. Tile, stone, plaster and wet drywall are dense and limited by truck weight capacity.
Dumpster or haul-away?
For short projects, or where an HOA regulates roll-off placement, haul-away avoids rental days and a container on site. For month-long gut remodels, a roll-off may cost less.
Ready-to-load saves money
Debris staged in the garage or driveway takes less labor than debris spread through the house.
What we need to know before quoting
The type of material, a rough volume (bags, piles or square footage of flooring), where it's staged, and whether anything is still attached. Photos with a reference object give the most accurate range. Frisco recorded 3,408 home-improvement permits in 2025, so timing the haul with your contractor's schedule helps keep the driveway clear.
